Description

The goal of this deck is to gain as much life as possible while maintaining a reasonable board state to beat down opponents. Late game, we can use Evra, Halcyon Witnessimage in tandem w/ Axis of Mortalityimage to set Evra's power to our current life total on the opponent's end step and then swap life total's w/ them on our upkeep, leaving them at 4 life and us w/ their prior life total.

Vs. aggro, mulligan for Fountain of Renewalimage, Vicious Rumorsimage and Cry of the Carnariumimage or the Imperious Oligarchimage + Plaguecrafterimage combo.

Vs. control, virtually every hand is keepable. After they've drained most of their resources w/ counter spells, board clears and jailbait artifacts/enchantments they're pretty open in general. Most don't think they can die at 40+ life.

CHANGELOG

2/2/19

- Plaguecrafterimage x1

- Ill-Gotten Inheritanceimage x3

+ Basilica Bell-Hauntimage x3

+ Revival // Revengeimage x1

Sure we get less cummulative procs for Epicure of Bloodimage cutting the Ill-Gotten Inheritanceimage, but getting 3 life, having the opponent discard and getting a 3/4 is some great value. Ill-Gotten Inheritanceimage may find a home on the sideboard for those grindy control matchups, but board presence is always a good thing. It especially forces the opponent to choose the creature proc of Cleansing Novaimage, leaving our artifacts and enchantments open.

Thanks to you for sharing this beauty!

@vulpide Ah yes that's correct. For some reason I interpreted it as power instead of CMC. I've made the necessary corrections.

Hi, I'm impressed, this Deck is using one of my last-time favourite combo, which I did a bit differently some days ago but with a kind of the same system.
I have a note about your 2/2/19 addendum, you wrote:

"Our friendly neighborhood spirit can also be brought back for only 2 mana w/ Revival, repeating the process (...) so essentially we have 5 copies of the Bell-Haunt, leading to 15 life gained."

But Revival can only return creatures of converted mana cost of 3, our Spirit has 4!
