Learn more Download For WindowsThis deck was inspired by no other than Keruga Fires decklist. The pieces I had replaced changed the way this deck performs from a combo/midrange deck to a full-on control 8-Teferi (8feri) deck.
The pieces that were replaced are as follows:
4 fires >> 4 Teferi, Master of time
4 Sphinx's Revelation >> 4 Brazen Borrower
4 Cavalier of Flame >> 4 Cavalier of Dawn
3 Kenrith >> 2 Eugene (aka. Ugin, the Spirit Dragon) + 1 Dream Trawler
I've posted the original list under the Bo1 Standard mode but now I'm focusing on testing it in Bo3 format and it's even better.
Bo3 Match-ups:
vs. Aggro
Mono-Green Stompy: 2-0
vs. Jank
Mono-Blue Mill: 2-1
vs. Ramp
Simic Ramp: 0-2
vs. Sacrifice
Jund Sacrifice: 2-0
For the sideboard, the two decks I worry about in the meta are UG+X Ramp decks and RB+X Sacrifice decks, thus the sideboard I put in the list.
Let me know what you think and how this deck can improve (especially the sideboard).
By the way, Keruga is there as a refill for your hand for those stalled out 1st game matchups. It can be taken out post sideboard to make way for deck adjustment as needed.
