Feel like I got a samurai list that actually works on ladder.
Risona+Ascent = good and the ressurection/flying counter is great.
The angels allow you to avoid playing the shitty Samurai/Warriors, which were kinda Ishin and Riyuu's biggest problem.
Just enough draw to get keep up with control later, and between angel fire and Riyuu/Moraug it only takes a couple of attacks to win. You don't have to commit a ton of creatures to the board to deal damage, which blunts boardwipes, and most of your playables are multicolored which makes vanishing verse less useful.
Maybe more board clear in the SB for tokens/weenie. Seeing less and less naya/Selesnya enchant so maybe take out the archons for another Doomskar or two.
All in all a fun themed tribal. Enjoy!
