YOUTUBE MYTHIC #491 DECK GUIDE:
Join me today as we discover the sheer POWER of Humans in the MTG Arena Standard best of one format. This video covers a wide range of matchups against the other best decks in the format. THIS is my current Mono White Humans build and I for my money, the best Humans build in the meta right now.
We have Thalia and Anointed Peacekeeper to REALLY put the hurt on opponents who rely on board wipes like White Sun's Twilight, Farewell, Sunfall or Depopulate. We have Coppercoat Vanguard to pump our creatures and provide some protection with ward. If you find yourself with a coppercoat vanguard and against a deck without sweepers, you can go as wide as possible with Adeline and the token attackers quickly spiral out of control.
If our opponent lays down a beefy creature such as Sheoldred, Archfiend of the Dross, Topiary Stomper or anything that's bigger than our creatures, we take those out with a Brutal Cathar and we protect the Cathar with Skrelv when applicable. One of the strongest curves with this humans aggro deck is Turn 1 Skrelv, Turn 3 Thalia, Turn 3 Adeline, making this a very unique aggro deck for ranked standard because we're attacking, but also protecting our investments with Skrelv. Sometimes you'll find yourself with a couple of one drops and that's okay. Recruitment Officer is deceptively good at finishing up grindy games that stall on turn 5-6, finding you what you need.
