Why?
That is the only question this deck make you and those that play against it ask. Why is the mana base so wild? Why does the CMC distrubtion look like a roller coaster? Why is a control deck filled with so much jank? Why was the mailman spending so much time with your mom?
Piloting this deck is like being a James Bond villian. You are very well equipped at dealing with a multitude of situations while also being violently incompetent. The beginning and middle of the game is going to look like one of two possiblities: You have prolonged the game as long as possible to establish a board state or you died.
That's it. There's no flashback cards, just a bunch of utility of the saltiest caliber. Graveyard hate is cheap and plentiful, so we will literally forgo our commander's entire strategy so we can counter spell our opponents to death while sending our big and shiny dragon directly at their face. Apparently when you mix white, black, and blue you somehow get green.
Should you waste your time and money on this deck when just the mana base and counter spells are easily over a grand? No, absolutely not, matter of fact there are several different iterations of this deck that are much cheaper and better. This deck is about taking the most obnoxious cards to be found in esper, sprinkling in a bunch of artifacts and enchantments, then finally forcing your opponents to scoop out of sheer frustration.
It's esper for control players with an undiagnosed learning disability.
