This deck is a work in progress.
Who really wants to play the Orzhov decks that all the cool kids are playing? Vampires? Pshhh. Lifegain? BORING! I wanted to go back to an old favorite of mine: BW Knights. Unfortunately, this deck was really hard to put together as there are a lot of really good Knight cards and cards that synergize well with Knights. I've settled on this for the time being, but I will likely change it in the future. This is an aggro deck. So we run a lot of low cost cards. Most of our curve is 1, 2, or 3 CMC with a fairly beefy top end in Syr Konrad, the Grim and Cavalier of Night. I wanted to include Aryel, Knight of Windgrace and Cavalier of Dawn, but I haven't decided what I want to cut for them yet if anything.
The Aggro:
Ebon Legion is a really nice one drop that can buff itself for 3 mana and give itself deathtouch. It also gets +1/+1 counters whenever your opponent loses 4 or more life during your turn. Blacklance Paragon is a pseudo combat trick on a stick that gives one of your Knights deathtouch and lifelink. Popping this on one of your first strikers can be pretty brutal if they are getting blocked by something bigger. Knight of Malice has Hexproof from White which is nice for dodging exile or Pacifism-like enchantments. Knight of Grace has Hexproof from Black which is relevant considering Heartless Act is everywhere in most black decks. Worthy Knight makes a non-Knight token whenever you play a Knight. This synergizes well with Corpse Knight who damages your opponent by 1 whenever a creature you control ETBs. Belle is a pump whenever she and other Knights attack. Murderous Rider is removal plus a body.
The Top End:
Konrad pops your opponent for 1 whenever any creature enters the graveyard from anywhere. You can also pay (1)(B) to help enable this more often. Cavalier sacs a creature of yours to destroy one of your opponent's creatures. When it dies, you can bring back any creature from your graveyard CMC 3 or less...which is pretty much most of our creatures. Circle costs (1) less for each Knight you control. It's a nice anthem effect and allows us to generate Knight tokens for free if we cast Legendaries (we don't have too many of those) or pay (3)(W).
The Support:
Radiant Destiny is another anthem effect that gives +1/+1 to creatures we control of a type we select. Once you Ascend, they get Vigilance as well. Getting to the Ascend trigger isn't too difficult. History of Benalia makes Knight dudes and buffs all Knights on Chapter III. Sorin is here because I like the idea of giving all of my Knights Lifelink. Having a little recursion isn't a terrible thing either.
Notes:
As this is an aggro deck, it is heavily susceptible to board wipes. I considered trying to throw in some things like Unbreakable Formation to stave that off or Shalai, Voice of Plenty to dodge Settle the Wreckage, but I haven't decided whether or not it is worth it.
