The Best
This deck does its best work versus creature mid-range decks. Mono-White Life just gets destroyed.

The Worst
This deck is not the best versus aggro decks where you are "on-draw". This is because the lowest cost removal is 2 CMC. This means you end up not being able to remove fast enough and most time can't get to a Ritual of Soot before it is too late.

The Start
It is almost always best to start with three lands. After that, you want at least one 2CMC removal spell. Then I try for Binding the Old God or Deathsprout. What you do on turn 4 tends to be when the first big decision happens.

Turn 4, 5,
The best T4 drop tends to be Binding the Old God or Karn, the Great Creator. Turn 5 tends to be Ashiok, Nightmare Muse for 70% of the games. If you did a Deathsprout on T4 then you may also drop Liliana, Dreadhore General or Garruk, Cursed Huntsman. I tend to go Garruk over Liliana. This is because it gives me a removal and blockers. Then it is also draws and counters if you can follow with a Liliana -4 activation.

The Planeswalkers
Ashiok, Mightmare Muse will put in more work that most of the other Planeswalkers. The +1 is great for blockers and milling into exile. The -3 works to take the hard to remove cards of the field. Then you force a discard and a replay. This if done right to slow the tempo of the other player.

Karn, the Great Creator is all about the -2. The first card I get is Grafdigger's Cage or Weathered Runestone. This can put the end to many decks that just playing them cards can cause a win. The next pull tends to be Planar Bridge as this gives me direct access to Ugin, The Spirit Dragon.

Narset, Parter of Veils is one of the simplest to understand. Most of the cards are noncreature, nonland cards. This gives me faster access to other Planeswalkers. I will also grab a Bala Ged Recovery if I need to pull a planeswalker out of the graveyard.

Vraska, Golgari Queen is all about the -3, and this there for the early game and to use a bait. The +2 can be used to kill one of Garruk's token creatures or to trigger Liliana's on creature death effect. While the -9 is a cool wincon it will almost never get used.

Garruk, Cursed Huntsman is good for the blocks. The -3 makes for a good midgame removal for the creature that falls outside the 3 CMC limits to some of the other removals. The -6 will win you games but don't try to play around it.

Ugin, the Spirit Dragon.... because you win.\

Note: This deck did get me from Platinum into Mythic.
