Arena Standard - Dance Broom Foretold w/ Sac-Cat

This deck is a mash-up of the sac-cat combo with Cauldron Familiar
and Witch's Oven
, and the usual Doom Foretold
package of 2 mana artifacts that draw cards and Dance of the Manse
recuring all those permanents to draw/remove threats or just make them 4/4s if x>5.
The Golden Egg
is extra nice as it also doubles as food for the cat.
I don't like having too many Prison Realm
because I don't like having to give their permanent back when I sac it, but it usually doesn't matter too much. But that is why I run Murderous Rider
to help against Oko and all the big scary threats out there.
Trail of Crumbs
is there to make sure you keep finding enchantments/artifacts.
The deck plays out mostly as a sac-cat deck until doom foretold hits, then its trying to stay alive and remove all their permanents. I have a 1-of Divine Visitation
to combo with the Sorcerer's Broom
, which works with all the sacrifice outlets the deck has to offer. The Divine Visitation also works with the 1-of Castle Ardenvale
in late-game situations.
Speaking of the Broom Sorcerer's Broom, it is a nice card to combo with Doom Foretold because you untap, sac something that doesn't matter and copy the broom. From then on, the tokens are unaffected by the Doom trigger and so you can maintain board presence (for blocking).
There is also a 1-of Rampage of the Clans
which can be a nice surprise 5-10 3/3 centaurs at the end of their turn.
As for potential changes... I have thought about puting in a Wishclaw Talisman
or two in order to go find Divine Visitation, Dance of the Manse, Rampage of the Clans or Kaya's Wrath
. The mana can handle it, but would have a tough time supporting Fae of Wishes
.
