I currently have a 74% win rate (26-9) this month, climibing from platinum into diamond.

This has easily become my favorite deck for standard, because it has decent answers to all the format dominators right now (turns, mono white, mono green) while absolutely dominating any other mid range or aggro brews in the mix in BO1.

It also is just extremely fun to play with, offering interesting decisions in every matchup, and a lot of flexibility in how to play.

The all stars of this deck are: Blood on the Snow, Meathook Massacre, Graveyard Trespasser.

Trespasser is just so good in almost every matchup: it offers immediate graveyard hate which helps against control decks like turns, and gains you life against aggro while taking theirs, while also picking off any annoying disturb creatures/enhantments.  The ward ability also turns any targeted removal into a guaranteed 2 for 1 for you, emptying the hand of aggro decks and nullifying fading hope and divide by zero.  If it manages to flip, doubling the life gain/drain can be huge; don't forget you can target your own graveyard too!

Blood on the snow is just absolutely devastating against aggro, and its ability to hit planeswalkers is relevant as well.  I most often grab a trespasser, but this deck plays so much snow that you often get your planeswalkers back too.  Against control I also have no problem just using it as a reanimate only if need be.

Meathook Massacre is probably the best black card in the format; flexible sweeper with the ability to gain you life and take theirs for the rest of the game.  So far, I like playing two, but you could probably play a 3rd if you are encountering a lot of aggro.

Making sure you consistently hit land drops is important; this deck is often hungry for mana with the man lands and occasional Tergrid's Lantern.  Eyetwitch will almost exclusively grab environmental sciences.  Ghast can also smooth over missed drops with a treasure, but don't turn down the opportunity to kill something with its -1/-1 against aggro/white unless that treasure will be the differencer between you sweeping or not!

Speaking of Tergrid, I don't know if she really deserves to be in this deck, but I love the card too much to cut her completely (I started with 3).  Most often I'll play the lantern side, but the dream is when you have the professor out to force a sac with tergrid on board, or playing her when an opponent has their saga on II, giving you a free saga on their turn.  The lantern has helped grind out games for several wins, but its hard to say if its really better than Lolth though.  I like that in BO1 not many decks have artifact hate answers, which is valuable in its own right.

I'd also like to point out this deck plays one mountain you can grab with enviro, which in addition to your treasures, allows you to cast Tibalt, which is truly one of the most fun things you can do in a "mono black" deck.

This deck is also ready for BO3 as-is; the one of Island is for the test of talents swap in against turns, but it can be swapped out for a snow swamp in BO1.

The card that wrecked me the most is Reidane.  I successfully ran this deck without any 1 for 1 removal until I encountered her, then it became non-negotiable, as she slows down your mana and nullifies your blood on the snow and walkers, effectively ruining any chance at stabilizing.

I also encountered Strixhaven Stadium once against a U/W control variant, and this deck does not have good answers for that.  If that was a more consistently played card I'd consider abrade in the sideboard for BO3 perhaps.
