This deck is designed to steadily control the board while building your artifact battlefield.
In the early game, Market Gnome, Spring-Loaded Sawblades // Bladewheel Chariot, and Braided Net // Braided Quipu will stave off aggro until you can Unstable Glyphbridge // Sandswirl Wanderglyph. In control matchups, focus on your mana base until you can build the board while holding Disruption Protocol up or bait counters. If B/W, be very wary of a Farewell (you're dead in the water lol).
Against midrange, braided net shines. Remember, Chimil, the Inner Sun cancels all ward abilites.
This deck has a surprising amount of decisions to make and lines to take every game. You could use Drafna, Founder of Lat-Nam to repeatedly bounce Spring-Loaded Sawblades // Bladewheel Chariot for consistent removal, The Mightstone and Weakstone for endless card draw, or Unstable Glyphbridge // Sandswirl Wanderglyph for a neverending wrath.
Fabrication Foundry can also do a ton of work. Have a The Mightstone and Weakstone in the bin? Use Fabrication Foundry to eat a Mightstone from your board to bring another back from grave. In rare situations, you can also wind up with Portal to Phyrexia in the graveyard and use foundry to throw it in play for 3 mana. Fabrication Foundry takes some getting used to. You have to know the cost of what you're grabbing and select the value when activating equal to or greater than the cost. For example: your board has Fabrication Foundry, Market Gnome, and three Spring-Loaded Sawblades // Bladewheel Chariot; you have The Mightstone and Weakstone in the graveyard. You can activate Foundry and select either 5, 6, or 7 based on the board. 5 would eat two Sawblades and a Gnome, 6 would eat three Sawblades, and 7 would eat everything. Play around with Fabrication Foundry to get used to its activation and the ensuing math, sometimes you have an out without realizing it at first.
Forensic Gadgeteer is also a fascinating card in this deck. I have had plenty of games with 5-7 clues sitting on board from the course of the game. This gives you massive tokens off Thousand Moons Smithy // Barracks of the Thousand, but also gives you a great deal of card advantage (for 1 mana a pop!) as you push into late game.
The hardest part of this deck is piloting correctly in the matchup and intelligently sideboarding game 2. Don't sleep on The Stone Brain, can easily remove something core to your opponent's game plan.
This deck can climb ladder in the current meta imo. It'll take several games to get used to the playstyle and learn the odd combos and lines you can take depending on the board state. Enjoy!
