My Top 5 Cards to brew around in Ikoria

Welcome to part 2 of "Cards to brew around in Ikora.

ok, guys, before we get to my actual top 5 I first want to mention two other themes I didn't mention in part 1 and that's the "human tribal"  which is definitely worth a try to brew around.

Human Tribal:

Cards which stand out the most are:

As you see the Orzhov Colours are kind of a given. But I´ve also seen some Mardu and Abzan brews already, there have been a lot of humans builds in the early excess Event especially but I´m sure there are more builds to go for than the ones we've already seen ;)

Seems to be a key card in most of these builds which makes perfect sense.

The only thing I would change is playing 4 Dire Tactics since it is probably the best creature removal Standard has to offer if you play humans. I would cut the Merriment to make the deck faster.

 

Flash:

The second one is the whole Flash theme. In Simic Flash we already had a very strong Deck since the Print of 

in M 2020. but now there are many more cards added to this theme and especially black got some new strong cards making it a viable option besides the given color blue.

You see there is a lot new Flashy stuff going on in Ikoria ;)

Especially the Dimir build made up into the fresh Meta these days. But I wonder who will be the first to make a 3 Colour Flash build Top Tear. I expect it to be possible with all these Bombs. Sultay is maybe the color combination to go here...

Wait wait wait what is this?!? 2 Card on top 5 - That's not what a top 5 is meant to be!!!

ok ok, you got me LOL. Man 5 Cards is not much I already had to make hard decisions ;)

While I think Lukka is the stronger card and there is already a few builds showing that, I think Ozolith is, in general, the more interesting card to build around. I have to say though I haven't seen only one Ozolith build in Arena so far. Come on look at this card - there must be some crazy and fun builds to make this card a thing.

Is it probably the missing piece to brake this card?!?

Man, I really like this card :) I have no doubt we will see this card a lot in the upcoming Meta. 

The Streamer DanyTlaw already included it in Temur Reclamation where this card just fits in perfectly.

Ok, this card makes me dream of a huge Izzet Phoenix Comeback and just so much more Izzet can do.

I think its a really nice card perfectly fitting the Izzet colors. Since I'm a lover of the Izzet colors and the Phoenix Deck I really hope someone will break this card. My first try to do so failed I have to say so deck brewers out there get your hands on Rielle and make something happen!!!

Wow what is this card?!?

In the Spoiler season, this Card has already drawn everybody's attention. Such a strong effect, so many decks this could be good in. Let your imagination flow and create your own Broodmoth Deck ;)

The Idea and Original Deck comes from Mono Black Magic one of my favorite MTGA You Tubers. You should defs check him out if you like fun and Yankee brews ;)

The Idea ist to take Flying from your own Broodmoth before you wrath and so it comes back by her own trigger :P

You all might have guessed it ;)

Man, this card is just nuts. I really wonder what this card all can do and in which brews it will appear.

I know the downside seems tuff in first, but there are many ways to get your next round rolling again as you just need to cast 1 or 2 spells and your hand is filled up again. Adventure is probably the best way for that. but also Escape works perfectly with it, as you fill up your grave and have the cast of a spell next round.

But let's think of my Nr. 3 Rielle - you won´t have an empty hand anymore ;) ;)

I already added it to my Temur Clover List and it's very strong there. I recommend giving it a try.

Noxious even made a Mono Red List splashing for it. Mono Red you ask - yes Mono Red :P
