For Believe, you put the top card of your library into your hand if you don't put it onto the battlefield for any reason, whether it's not a creature card or whether you just didn't want to put it onto the battlefield. - 2017-06-27
Once you've started to cast a spell with aftermath from your graveyard, the card is immediately moved to the stack. Opponents can't try to stop the ability by exiling the card with an effect such as that of Crook of Condemnation. - 2017-06-27
If you don't put the top card of your library onto the battlefield, you don't reveal it before putting it into your hand.
