Midrange black and white deck meant to tackle most common decks you'll see in best of one. I haven't used this deck in best of three with sideboarding. I've ran this deck with multiple variances of the maybe board cards as well as the ones in the sideboard with a lot of success. I think you can make this deck work with a lot of customization as to what you like, with the core being...
Core cards:
Ravens X4, Beetles (at least 2 or 3), 25 or 26 lands, 1 sorin, 1 Revival // Revenge, 2-4 bloodthirsty, and a few ways to deal with early enchantments.
Advice:
If you play 25 lands you'll rarely need to muligan unless you don't get your two colors and at least 3 lands. If you can get the scry lands you want to try to have your early turns to get yourself to 4 lands as early as possible, IE use your scry lands first to bottom things to get your four lands. If you have four lands already, use your scry lands to bottom more lands you come across in favor of something else.
Use your lifelink vampires and blight beetles to hopefully delay your opponent long enough to answer with a revenge of ravens or disenchant/mortify to get rid of early threats like calvacade. This is a defensive deck that takes time. You'll want to destroy all creatures against large number of threats with realm cloak giant. You can also wipe out a lot of things with Ajani if you're life total is high enough. You have answers for a lot of small 1 or 2 power creaturs with revenge of ravens. So this deck can do well against most decks out there depending on your draws. There's enough variety in it to do well against most decks and because of the variety it makes it fun to play.
So, for a fun to play deck, that has most answers to the most common good decks out there, with a unique way of winning, can be a refreshing alternative to the current meta. It can be tweaked easily with maybe board and sideboard cards to acommodate your playstyle or your current cards you have unlocked.
Don't expect to win every game with this deck. But, also, don't think it can't beat a specific deck out there either. You actually have a chance against Field of Dead decks (although this is going to be banned tomorrow), Oko decks, Calvacade Decks, mono red burn, common blue/red decks, common black/green decks, etc. You'll occasionally lose to these decks also, but you have a chance. I suspect this deck is competitive enough to go a long way in ranked, but I haven't bothered to try yet. I'll update the deck description once I learn more.
Depending on your draw this deck can be quite fast, but it is not meant to be an aggro deck. It isn't completely control either, because your win condition depends a lot on what the opponent's deck is and what they are doing. I selected midrange for it, because it usually takes a bit longer to win with it, but it really isn't the typical midrange deck. What is very satisfying is when your opponent kills him/her self by attacking into your ravens. I expect this won't keep happening though once people figure out how the card works.
