So this deck was inspired by Mono Black Magic's "Dreadhorde Halo" which was build in Esper (here's the link for those interested in his deck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U91PGF2pY-8) he has his decklist in the description.
I wanted to use the same sort of principle, but slam some of the staples of any reanimator deck (mainly Drakuseth). The deck doesn't really run that many creatures, since you want to just steal whatever you can from any graveyard. That's where all the board clears come in, Shatter deals with the creatures and Storm deals with any planeswalkers that could get caught out. The only reason I placed Ilharg in the deck was just incase you ended up getting board wiped you have a constant threat and can help play out things like Drakuseth to go face for some considerable damage.
The games I got put in were against mono white pridemate (with banishing light and conclave which is why I run ruinous), Azorious flyers (that some how got off the slowest possibly start and didn't manage to find answers), Mardu knights and two mono green decks (one of them won due to just being able to re-stock the board quicker than I could clear).
This deck is fun, if you're playing into pridemate stealing a Daxos or an Orator is hillarious to see all the triggers, especially if you have a Konrad on the board, if you don't but have a Terror on the board the stack has the same effect. What is that effect? The concede.
Quick note about the sideboard, althought the deck does have a lot of card draw I only had two Halo's and didn't want to craft anymore for a bit of jank mainly because I don't have that many. If you have more than two move the deck around to include them, or just use the Wishclaw to grab whatever you need. Obviously, I don't recommend using the Graffdigger since you won't be able to do anything. That's partially why the Golem is in there just to destroy it and to last longer. I think that's probably the benefit of running esper since if you have it you can bounce it with Teferi 3. Instead of using Graffdigger's you could pray to the RNG and Matchmaking Gods that you don't play against a sacrifice or Lurrus deck.
Sorry for the essay, have fun!
