Top Standard Decks - June 2024
As Modern Horizons 3 is set to shake up wider formats tomorrow (for Arena), here we are, pretty much gearing up for the upcoming rotation schedule for Standard. Well, technically, we still have a lot of time, about two months more. But when it comes to fresh deck brewing, the general consensus is to usually build the decks in a rotation-friendly way. We won't see that until the very end for meta decks of course, but it is still good to know if such a strategy is reflected on any of the newer trending decks created over the last month.
Standard MTG Arena: Best of Three - Top 8 Decks
Simic once again returns... technically, tailing the last 8th place. Now, a lot of pieces are familiar here and there, but this is definitely a somewhat different flavor compared to the one that made the rounds shortly after the release of The Lost Caverns of Ixalan. Dimir pretty much dropped completely off the list after being 2nd place, with the rest of the regulars jigsawing their way to the rest of the vacant slots at slightly different places. As for the triple tie, this time, it is between Temur Ramp, 5C Domain, and Mono Red Wins. Oh, and don't worry, that Domain entry is the only one we've got this time around.

Standard MTG Arena: Best of One - Top 8 Decks
Well, well... look who's back, and double the force this time around. Yes folks, Mono Black is creeping back as usual at BO1 with two separate criminal entries on the list! Unfortunately, we lost some of the more colorful decks (pun intended) that put a bit more variety pressure on these matches, Naya Tempo and Temur Ramp being the most notable ones that fell off the list. In fact, Selesnya Enchantments was just already a few decimal points near being wiped off the top 8 as well! Though strangely enough, that frustratingly consistent freaky "Rakdos" Azorius instant burn win combo deck made the rounds to land in 5th place (2.11% of the meta).
