Description

Okay, this seems like it's going to be the list I would most likely take to locals AND RCQ barring any changes that somehow screw over fish. <.< Like giving Red and Black more ways to make us creature decks cry in the corner... This seems like the most aggro we can be without running out of steam. We can also switch profiles much easier and wait until we have what we need to assemble our Lords and forces and push in one huge wave to sweep them clean.

We have a large number of low to the ground creatures that curve around 1-2 with our 3 and highers being defensive options or for fizzling effects. It should be noted that not only is Tidebinder good against fetch lands but Cosi's Trickster can get +1 counter every time they do meaning a burn deck that starts with a fetch will have to deal with it if they don't want to end up pushing it up a 3/3 easily. They spend more energy, we spend less is the overall theme of the deck's surface, and then beneath those choppy and aggressive waves we have real monsters like Flute to simply name their most used or keystone wincons. We also have Smokebomb, which will turn off our protections, but at the cost of fizzling any extra removal or annoying effects that would target our permanents. We are double shielded against generic removal and damage, AND we can in fact have a place to run because, Mono Black, you cant remove Shroud. So if we do this right, we can abolsively fizzle your little 'card of the year' AND Sheltered by Ghosts not able to remove us either.

Sideboard stuff: extra copies of Flute for the same reason listed above, Dive Down just in case it's all burn no creatures or a certain Elder Giant that's really a Lightning Helix on legs, Three Steps ahead as our swiss army knife counter spell that also dupes our Lords or gives us some much needed card draw without too much overcommitting to the idea and Witness Protection for Sheoldred and othe rmopnliths we have a hard time living against given we need to call no blockers. If you don't know why hearse is there you must not be aware of Agatha, Yawgmoth or the fact we have like four reanimator spells that are all insane. I envy you!

In short guys, gals and nonbinary pals, our deck is lower to the ground, able to protect itself and make people get Thallasophobia all without needing to ever see a drop of water. :D
