Phyrexia: All Will Be One is the 95th Magic expansion. The release date of February 10, 2023, was originally set for February 3. It was pushed back one week.

All Will Be One will be legal in Standard until it leaves rotation in autumn 2024. This is also when Dominaria United, The Brothers War, and March of the Machine all leave the Standard format. After this, they will still be legal to be played in others, like Modern, Commander, Pioneer, or Legacy.

Storyline

Phyrexia: All Will Be One is the third story in a four-set arc where the fate of Dominaria and the Multiverse is unraveled.

Elesh Norn is getting closer to her plan to conquer the multiverse, with the Phyrexians growing stronger. The Planeswalkers lost on Dominaria and are taking desperate measures to try and turn the tide of battle. Their last hope is to gather as many Planeswalkers as possible and take on the Phyrexians on their home turf. A gamble that will lead to many casualties, but the stakes for everyone are even higher. The Planeswalkers team up and heads into New Phyrexia to end the invasion threat once and for all.

Mechanics 

Poison

Poison counters are placed on players rather than objects. When a player has ten or more poison counters, that player loses the game. It is intended as a different win condition from life totals because the counters cannot be removed.

Toxic

The new toxic mechanic is a reworking of Poison damage. It works more like the Lifelink mechanic in that dealing damage gives poison counters instantly instead of giving poison counters as a triggered ability.

Proliferate

Proliferate is an old returning mechanic. When a player proliferates a target with a counter, the target gets another counter of that type.

Corrupted

Corrupted is a Threshold variant for abilities that can only be activated or triggered if an opponent has three or more poison counters.

For Mirrordin!

This is a keyword ability for equipment cards similar to the old Living weapon ability. When this equipment enters the battlefield, create a 2/2 red creature token and attach this to it.

Phyrexia: All Will Be One will be sold in regular Draft Boosters, Set Boosters, Collector Boosters, the Phyrexia: All Will Be One Bundle, and two Commander decks. A special Compleat Edition of the Bundle contains 12 Set Boosters, 40 foil basic lands, and a Compleat Edition booster with two special foil Mythic Rare cards + 10 unique foil Land cards.
